Privacy policy

What personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights.

This policy explains what personal data BestCasinoRanks collects, why, and what rights you have. It applies to bestcasinoranks.co.uk.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Bazeli Trading Ltd, Archiepiskopou Makariou III, 84, Office 1, Larnaca 6017, Cyprus. Email: [email protected].

2. What we collect

Contact form and email

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of the correspondence.

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our mailbox by an email service provider. If you prefer, you can email us directly at the address above instead of using the form.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting server automatically records technical information when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser type. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working and are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.

What we don't collect

We don't run analytics, advertising pixels, social media plugins or tracking scripts, and we don't create user accounts. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

3. Legal bases

  • Replying to your messages: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps you ask us to take.
  • Server logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
  • Keeping records where required by law: legal obligation.

4. Links to casinos

When you click a link to an operator you leave our site. We don't pass your name or email to the operator. The operator may record that you arrived from our site through a tracking reference in the link so that it can pay commission; from then on its own privacy policy applies.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the site, namely our hosting provider and the email services described above, under contracts that require them to protect it, and with authorities where the law requires it. We don't sell personal data.

6. International transfers

We are based in Cyprus, in the European Union, and our visitors are mainly in the UK. Transfers between the UK and the EU are covered by adequacy arrangements. Where a service provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, the transfer takes place only as needed to deliver your message or run the site.

7. How long we keep data

Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted. Server logs are kept for no more than 90 days unless needed to investigate a security incident.

8. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us to exercise any of these rights; we will reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to our mailbox and hosting is restricted to the people who need it.

10. Changes

We will update this page if our practices change, and the date below will change too.
